Devon Duppy

We had some beautiful mangoes brought in to our office by courtesy of my co-worker. Flesh was tender and juicy creating a delicate concert of sweetness and tartness in your mouth. Heavenly. Then we started talking about different ways of using these divine mangoes. Drinks! Yes, it would be nice to add some chunks into some icy vodka straight from the freezer. Oh, better yet, how about some rum? My co-worker who brought in these divine fruits, she had a chance to enjoy this drink called "Devon Duppy" at Devon House in Kingston, Jamaica. She told me that "Duppy" is a colloquialism of Jamaica, it means "Ghost". The drink contains artful mix of light rum, dark rum and seriously gorgeous fruit juice including some divine Mangoes. According to her, this drink sneaks up on you...like a ghost...
